I’m almost done with this semester. Sure, I have at least one more year to finish undergrad, but this semester has been a flaming ass. 🙂 As most know, it started out rather badly with a death and almost two weeks out of class! So I was behind from the beginning.
Anyway, I just turned in my ENGL480 12-page final paper. It was okay. Nothing special, and by far not my best work. At this point, that’s okay though—the simple fact I got ANYTHING turned in ON TIME is a miracle in itself. Of course Dr. Poole (my academic idol) was very understanding and once again restored my faith in humanity. 🙂
My other professors were helpful as well, but that won’t save me from two impending exams! The human genetics exam should be another flaming ass—it’s cumulative!! Anthropology shouldn’t be too bad, but we’ll see. As it is, I expect to get an A-/B+, B-,& A-. 🙂 I can live with that.
This summer I’m hoping to only work on a web project with Dr. Poole, with no other class! YIPPEE. Web work is stress relief for me and won’t rot my mind! I need that. I so need a break! If I weren’t almost finished—and getting too old to be on campus—I’d take a semester off to regain my sanity. But I can’t. I want to graduate next Spring, dammit! Then I can go on to grad school and become a drunk.
Sigh.
