Where in the World?

I’m alive and well, but wanted to post what will be up for the next few months.

I start graduate school next Thursday (Sept. 13). To facilitate being an hour away for two 3-hour classes while still working full-time at UD, my schedule will be a little screwy:

Monday through Wednesday: Work 9:15am to 7:45 pm. I’ll probably come home and collapse into classwork and vodka. At least I get to sleep until 7am this semester! (While taking classes at UD full-time, I was getting up at 5:30am after going to bed at around 1am every night.) For the next few weeks, I’ll be mad crazy at work doing some upgrades to training manuals for our new software and new students. I’ll also be hiring and training a few student workers. All this while doing my regular work as well. Anyone accustomed to hearing from me while I’m at work may be disappointed for a while.

Thursday: All day at Rosemont. I’ll be doing an assistantship for 6 hours +4 hours from home each week to get one of my classes paid for. Hopefully I can do something constructive and help them get some things done online. I’ll then have class Thursday night from 6pm to 9pm.

Friday: Work at UD from 9:15 am to 1:15pm. I’ll catch a bus at 1:15 to the train station so I can catch a train at 2:45 to get to Rosemont sometime after 4pm. Then I have class from 6pm to 9pm.

Saturday: Probably a lot of running around Saturday mornings, followed by work from noon to 4ish. I can then get some classwork done while at the Library.

Sunday: Everything else, more classwork, a little wine, and some sleep. 🙂

All this will continue until December 14. Then I’ll have a week or so of rest followed by a week or so of torture in Mississippi.

I’ll try to keep things posted here as they progress. I would almost be asking for donations of vodka…. but I have plenty. A 750ml bottle lasts me 3 years. 🙂
